BUNNELL – The Keep Rick Staly Our Sheriff Campaign announces another key endorsement for Sheriff Rick Staly’s re-election – Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody says Keep Rick Staly Flagler County Sheriff.
“Florida is at a 50-year low in crime and Attorney General Ashley Moody is at the forefront of helping and supporting Sheriffs reducing crime,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “General Moody has been a friend to Flagler County and Florida law enforcement and I am humbled to be endorsed by our Attorney General for re-election. She recognizes that under my watch Flagler County’s crime has dropped more than 50% since I was elected in 2017.”

BUNNELL – The Keep Rick Staly Our Sheriff Campaign announces another key endorsement for Sheriff Rick Staly’s re-election.
Flagler Beach Law Enforcement Association (FBLEA) # 6096 endorsed Rick Staly for re-election as Flagler County Sheriff in 2024. FBLEA # 6096 represents the Flagler Beach Police Department Officers and is part of the International Union of Police Associations (IUPA).

BUNNELL – The Keep Rick Staly Our Sheriff Campaign announces another key endorsement for Sheriff Rick Staly’s re-election.
U.S. Senator and former Florida Governor Rick Staly has endorsed Rick Staly for re-election as Flagler County Sheriff in 2024.
“I am proud to endorse Sheriff Rick Staly for another term as Flagler County Sheriff. When Sheriff Staly was first elected back in 2016, he quickly went to work. And the results speak for themselves. Crime in Flagler County is down 54%. He’s committed to keeping Flagler County residents safe and to upholding the law.
Sheriff Staly has dedicated his life to keeping Florida safe and has been recognized for his service many times along the way. I was proud to award him the Florida Governor’s Medal of Heroism for his tremendous courage in the line of duty. I have no doubt that he will continue to serve Flagler County with integrity, bravery, and honor when he’s re-elected,” said Senator Rick Scott.

Sheriff Staly received the Governor’s Medal of Heroism from Governor Scott in 2016 during a meeting of the Florida Cabinet. Governor Scott recognized Staly for his actions on July 31, 1978 when, then Orange County Deputy Sheriff Staly, was shot three-times while saving the life of a fellow Deputy Sheriff during a disturbance call in west Orlando, Florida.

The International Brotherhood of Police Officers (IBPO) and Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #171 (FOP 171) have endorsed Sheriff Staly for the 2024 Election.
The International Brotherhood of Police Officers, which represents all Flagler County Sheriff’s Office law enforcement deputies, including sergeants and corporals, voted overwhelmingly to endorse Rick Staly in his 2024 re-election bid as Flagler County Sheriff.
